People come into your life for a reason, a season or a lifetime.

People come into your life for a reason, a season or a lifetime. When you know which one it is, you will know what to do for that person.
When someone is in your life for a REASON, it is usually to meet a need you have expressed. They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally or spiritually. They may seem like a godsend and they are. They are there for the reason you need them to be. Then, without any wrong-doing on your part or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end. Sometimes they die. Sometimes they walk away. Sometimes they act up and force you to take a stand. What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled, their work is done. The prayer you sent up has been answered and now it is time to move on.
Some people come into your life for a SEASON, because your turn has come to share, grow or learn. They bring you an experience of peace or make you laugh. They may teach you something you have never done. They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy. Believe it, it is real. But only for a season!
LIFETIME relationships teach you lifetime lessons, things you must build upon in order to have solid emotional foundation. Your job is to accept the lesson, love the person and put what you have learned to use in all other relationships and areas of your life. It is said that love is blind but friendship is clairvoyant.
Thank you for being a part of my life, whether you were a reason, a season or a lifetime.

Purpose In Life!!

To serve people it takes dignity and intelligence. But remember they’re only people with money. Although we serve them we are not their Servants. What we do does not define who we are what defines us is how we rise after falling.

Synopsis of our Health and Fitness Expedition

Tuesday, March 29, 2011

Our mission is to lead teach and inspire people to take massive action towards living a healthy, sustainable lifestyle. Step 1 completed!  We came with great expectations for Mauritius Island and we are happy to say our expectations have been surpassed.  We met with key decision makers and leaders and made it happen! Through our press conference, newspaper articles, news broadcast to over 250,000 viewers, interactive health and fitness workshops, Transformation 360 was able to make a major impact on the Mauritius government and community. They are ready to take massive action towards their health and fitness. We learned about the different Non-Government Organizations (NGO’s), and how collaborating with these organizations can allow us to reach more people internationally.  After doing extensive research through meetings with top health professionals in Mauritius, we discovered that Mauritius ranked #1 in most of the non-communicable diseases (NCD’s) – first of all #1 in diabetes. 50% of Mauritians are diabetic, and the rest are considered pre-diabetic or have impaired glucose tolerance (IGT).  A disturbing stat we found is that 50% of Mauritians will die of cardiovascular disease within working age (18-55). Furthermore, 30% of people over 30 years old are Hypertensive, 40% of people over 30 years old are overweight, 16% of males are heavy drinkers, and the Mauritian diet consists of food high in fat, sugar, and salt.  Between 2005 and 2010, the health care budget increased 80% and is still rising.  Only 15% of Mauritians are physically active, indicating that there is a strong need for physical education, inspiration and motivation.

Most Mauritians start the day by spiking their blood sugar with white bread and tea.  Their cultural addiction to sugar, pastries, and fried foods are going to cause them to be extinct like their national mascot the Dodo bird, as I discussed on MBC live news this week.

After our final presentation in front of all the Ministers, health professionals, trainers, dieticians, and government officials, the lead Minister of Health said that he would invite us to lead a very big festivity next March, where highly regarded delegates and the Prime Minister would be along with 50,000-60,000 Mauritians.  Another workshop we have been invited to is to lead and instruct 30,000 to 40,000 Mauritians to demonstrate physical exercise in our own art form.

What a great learning experience for us!  We created a new hierarchy pyramid where health exceeds all other needs and wants.  Our motto is “Health before Wealth”.  What is the purpose of having wealth if you are going to die before the age of 55?  Without your health you really don’t have anything at all.

Thank you Shannon Delves, Vick Pochun, and Harpal Sandhu for your contribution on this incredible journey! :)

Our Fitness Expedition

Check out the health stats for Mauritius Island:  80% inactivity rate, #1 highest ranked for diabetes in the WORLD, 50% of people will die within working age (18-55) from heart disease and 30% are obese.  Transformation 360′s mission is to lead, teach and inspire people to take MASSIVE action towards a healthy and SUSTAINABLE lifestyle vs. diabetes, obesity, and cardiovascular disease.  We are on a global expedition around the world.  First stop – Mauritius Island!  We know this mission isn’t an easy task; however, great things are starting to happen as we are connecting with key decision makers in order to change the health infrastructure from the ground up.  Today our meeting with the Ministry of Youth and Sports was INCREDIBLE! Tomorrow we meet with the Minister of Health to confirm the details of a nationwide press conference and our health and fitness workshop series.  For some reason, they are very impressed with us.  Saturday March 26th we have a massive workshop for potentially 5000 people.  We have the National Women’s Federation, Bodybuilding Federation, Olympic Federation, and all the decision makers in the Health Ministry collaborating with us to fulfill our mission and vision.  This is just a start of our dream.  We foresee more great things coming our way.  :)

Hello Word!!

I am very excited to see how this new tool is going to help and motivate people to become more fitness aware in their daily busy life style.
